DUAL welcomes Scott Noerr as CIO

DUAL, the specialist underwriting arm of Howden Group Holdings, has announced the appointment of Scott Noerr as Chief Information Officer (CIO) to drive the company’s technology initiatives.

In his new role, Noerr will primarily focus on driving innovation and implementing advanced technology solutions to ensure seamless operation of critical systems that support DUAL’s business goals.

He will oversee the technology team, including the heads of production applications, technology research and development, and IT infrastructure and corporate applications.

“Scott’s addition to our leadership team marks a significant step forward for DUAL North America. His extensive experience and proven track record in formulating and executing comprehensive technology strategies will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and enhance our technology operations,” commented John Johnson, CEO, DUAL North America.

Adding: “Scott’s leadership will ensure that our technology initiatives not only support, but also drive our vision and competitiveness in the marketplace. Staying at the forefront of our industry is a major component of our strategy, and Scott’s expertise will be crucial as we work to achieve this goal.”

Noerr joins DUAL with 25 years of extensive expertise in the technology space across various industries.

He has previously worked at the National Interstate Insurance company for over eight years, following almost three years at Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials, where he was Global IT Director.

The executive has also held roles at Morgan Advanced Materials, Goodyear and Insurance.com.

According to DUAL, Noerr’s strategic expertise in technology governance, cross-functional collaboration, and visionary guidance will play a crucial role in advancing DUAL North America’s technology initiatives to align with business goals.

Commenting on his appointment, Noerr said: “I am excited to join DUAL North America as Chief Information Officer. I look forward to working with the team to drive innovation and implement advanced technology solutions.
