The LMA is governed by a Board which sets the overall strategy, direction and priorities of the association. The Board is made up of senior market practitioners and LMA leaders.

The new Board members are Vinay Mistry, Chief Commercial Operations Officer of Apollo and Nick Moore, Chief Executive Officer of Argenta.

Alex Powell, Chief Executive Officer of AEGIS London and Andrew Brooks, Non-Executive Director of Ascot Group, have both stepped down from the LMA Board at the end of their terms.

Sheila Cameron, Chief Executive Officer of the Lloyd’s Market Association, commented: “I am pleased to welcome Vinay and Nick to the LMA Board. Their experience and perspectives will be invaluable as we continue to represent and support our members and the wider Lloyd’s market. I would also like to thank Alex and Andrew for their significant contributions during their tenure.”

Sean McGovern, Chief Executive Officer, UK & Lloyd’s and Chair of the Lloyd’s Market Association, said: “Vinay and Nick bring a wealth of experience from across the market. I look forward to working with them as the Board continues to guide the LMA’s priorities and deliver meaningful outcomes for its members.”
