Miller, the leading independent specialist (re)insurance broker, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Lineham as Head of Data.

At Miller, Paul will work to further enhance the technological solutions Miller brings to its clients, as well as helping implement greater efficiencies and data-driven decision-making to support the firm’s growth.

Paul brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, most recently as Head of Data Architecture at Beazley. He has held a number of data positions within the insurance sector, including as Group Head of Data - Platforms at Howden, as well as across the manufacturing and consulting sectors such as Hitachi Consulting and HSO, delivering end to end data environments.

Steve Jolley, Group CIO, said: “I am delighted to welcome Paul to Miller as we continue to strengthen our ability to deliver more insight-led, bespoke solutions for our clients. With his breadth of experience across data and data architecture, he will be a real asset to the team as we enhance our capabilities and support better outcomes for our clients and our people.”

Paul Lineham added: “I have always been passionate about aligning data strategies to business need and seeing data used to deliver tangible outcomes. Miller’s entrepreneurial culture and client-first approach made it an obvious fit, and I greatly look forward to working with the full team to maximise value and deliver meaningful, innovative solutions.”
