2026 British Insurance Awards - Winners Revealed
The 2026 British Insurance Awards took place on 8 July at the Royal Albert Hall, bringing together the UK insurance market for its biggest annual night of recognition and celebration. Hosted by Insurance Post, the awards span the full breadth of the market, from personal lines and broking through to technology, reinsurance and specialist insurance.
Several names particularly relevant to the London Market and specialty space stood out on the night. Miller took home Lloyd's and London Market Broking Team of the Year, while McGill and Partners won both Insurance Broker of the Year and the Risk and Resilience Award for its Ukraine War Risks Reinsurance Facility. OAK Global was named Reinsurer of the Year, and HDI Global won Specialist Insurance Company of the Year. QBE had a strong evening, winning General Insurer of the Year and Best Insurance Employer for a Large firm. Clearwater Analytics won Insurance Partner of the Year in the Technology category, and Manjit Rana of Clearspeed was named Insurance Personality of the Year.
On the technology side, Aviva took The Technology Award, with Domestic & General winning Digital Insurance Innovation of the Year. Clearwater Analytics' technology partner win further underlined the growing role of data and analytics infrastructure across the market.
