2026 Market People Awards Honours Outstanding Contribution in the London Insurance Market
The 2026 LMF Market People Awards took over the Guildhall on 19 June for an unforgettable evening of celebration. This year themed around the glamour and spectacle of the Moulin Rouge. More than 320 people from across EC3 came together to recognise the individuals, teams and firms who make the London Market what it is.
31 outstanding recipients were welcomed into the Market People Hall of Fame across categories spanning broking, underwriting, claims, technology, data and AI, mentoring, diversity and leadership, a reflection of the depth of talent across the market.
Among the 2026 winners, Kirat Kaur Nandra of Travelers took home both London Market Mentor of the Year and the Market People Outstanding Contribution Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Velonetic, was presented to both Chris Lay and Stephen Catlin of Convex. In the technology space, Steve Peart of Allied World won Market Technology & Innovation Professional of the Year, with ACORD Solutions Group recognised as London Market Technology/Innovation Supplier of the Year.
The evening also celebrated the Joe Dainty Memorial Award winner Kirstin Duffield of Verisk, alongside standout recognition for rising talent across broking, underwriting and claims. Further winners on the night included Markel for Best Young Persons' Talent or Personal Development Programme, the Markel International Portfolio Analytics Team for Data, Analytics & AI Professional/Team of the Year, Vave MGA for MGA/MGA Professional of the Year, and the Tokio Marine HCC HR Team for Market HR & Learning and Development Professional/Team of the Year.
Alongside the awards, the event raised funds in support of Crisis, LMF's charity partner working to end homelessness.
