IT Claims Excellence Awards 2026 - Winners Revealed
The 2026 Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards recognised the standout performers across the UK claims landscape, celebrating innovation, customer service and excellence in fraud detection.
Among the winners, FM took home Insurer of the Year, with judges highlighting the firm's speed in deploying in-house loss adjusters and its commitment to pre- and post-loss client support. Brown & Brown Claims (UK) Limited won Claims Service of the Year for Broker/Insurer/MGA, recognised for its focus on vulnerable customers and service-led approach. DAC Beachcroft picked up Claims Team of the Year, and Napo Pet Insurance won Claims Team of the Year in the MGA category for its customer-centric model and dramatic reduction in complaint volumes.
In technology, Photocert won Claims Technology of the Year for its work tackling deepfake image fraud in the claims process. Five Sigma won Claims Partner of the Year, recognised for its AI-driven proposition spanning MGAs, insurers and TPAs. HighFive took Claims Product of the Year for its advanced use of AI and cross-line-of-business partnerships.
Other notable winners included DWF Law LLP for both Counter Fraud Initiative of the Year and ESG Initiative of the Year, QBE for Fraud Investigation of the Year following a complex £35m trade credit fraud case, and Kennedys Law LLP for Claims Training Excellence. Purbeck Insurance Services was named MGA of the Year, and Ben Allen of Flock Limited won Rising Star in Claims or Fraud.
